Our annual company sales conference was a blast this year. We had a lot of activities leading up to the big Mardi Gras theme party on the final night. The company hired a professional party planner to decorate the huge banquet hall and it was amazing. We really felt like we were in New Orleans. Before you entered the hall there were tables of beads and mardi gras masks ready and waiting for us. I choose a mask with a stick as I have never been fond of wearing masks and this would enable me to participate without the usual claustrophobic feeling that masks give me. The meal was authentic New Orleans fare and my favorite part of the dessert bar was the beignets. Everyone really got into the spirit by wearing a mask of some sort and dancing the night away. It was a great way to end a tough year for sales.
